Strategic Plan and Priorities

The Derby Safeguarding Strategic plan aims to improve outcomes for adults in the community through the delivery and upkeep of its priorities. 

The Six Principles of Safeguarding Adults as set in the care act 2014 are:

• Empowerment
• Protection
• Prevention
• Proportionality
• Partnership
• Accountability
